Across the United States Medical Supplies are Dwindling Putting our Veterans and their Frontline Health Care Workers at Risk.
THEY NEED OUR HELP
As you’ve likely heard, there is a profound shortage of medical supplies across the country. Frontline medical professionals are working tirelessly with inadequate personal protective equipment. These nurses, doctors, and medical technicians are being asked to reuse, recycle, and do without masks, gloves, and gowns that would protect them from contracting COVID-19. While they are on the frontline fighting this battle, the last thing we want them to think about is whether they and their families are at risk because we cannot protect them.
In an attempt to do our part, Cynergy Professional Systems, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, found a way to quickly produce and donate necessary supplies to VA Hospitals. To date, we have donated over 26,000 surgical and N95 masks. Initially, this was our own small way to give back to the men and women that serve us. However, as news internally spread, we have become inundated with requests from across the country from VA Medical Hospitals asking for our help. We realized that this is bigger than one or two hospitals needing help – there is a national need – and as such, we need a nation to help.

WHY US
As Cynergy is an IT and Communications Solution provider, at first glance, you would think providing this type of medical relief is a bit outside of our day-to-day operations. And it is! However, when our team heard about the shortages that were effecting the nation, we knew we had to do something. We took what we have which is relationships, supply-chain and logistical knowledge and were able to get over 26,000 masks in just 5 days. We have done it before and we can do it again, with your help.
WHY YOU
So far, we have been able to provide supplies to hospitals in Washington, New York, California, and Louisiana. There are 1,243 health care facilities serving over 9 million Veterans across the US. On our own, we’ve helped 4 sites, with your help, we could not only expand our current efforts, but help ALL of them. The VA’s Mission states “We believe it is our civic duty to care for him who shall have borne the battle, and for his widow, and his orphan”. We couldn’t agree more. We seek your support to help fulfill that mission.
